Biographies

Christine Filla, the Business Director of COLA Contracting Services – Safety Administration, has 28 years + safety experience attaining knowledge from the business practices of three large, established companies in the St. Louis area.


Christine has humble beginnings with an Associate’s Degree in Accounting/Business Management. She has enriched her accomplishments as a respirator training professional; a National Safety Council instructor in Adult and Pediatric CPR/First Aid/AED and Bloodborne Pathogens; and a ServSafe (Food Safety) and NEHA Trainer and Proctor. She also is an Instructor Trainer for NSC. She recently became a Community Emergency Response Team Trainer. She currently volunteers and serves as a Donation Specialist for Circle of Light Associates Non-profit organization located in the Baden area of St. Louis, MO. She co-chairs the COLA STEM Initiative, which combats learning deficiencies in Science, Technology, Engineering, and Math.


She also volunteers for FIRST Robotics, a 501 (c) (3) not-for-profit public charity which designs accessible, innovative programs that motivate young people to pursue education and career opportunities in STEM, while building self-confidence, knowledge, and life skills. Christine trained and mentored in safety, Team #1985, the Hazelwood Central Robohawks during the 2013-2014 season. She also coached and mentored Jr. FLL team #447, The Metalhead Monsters during the same season. Currently she is coaching FIRST LEGO League Team #1625, Cool Orange LEGO Athletes, Team #3384, Cool Orange LEGO Athletes JV, and COLA Prep, ages 4 - 7.
